We at Adventure and Fun Albania, take great satisfaction in our dedication to sustainable tourism. As a sustainable adventure tour operator, we have always strived to minimize our environmental impact and promote responsible travel. Our efforts have been recognized with the Travelife Certified Certification, and we are excited to share some of our recent achievements in the field of sustainability.

1. Reducing Paper Consumption
One of our significant milestones has been the successful reduction of paper consumption through the introduction of a new paperless “guide app”. This solution has allowed us to minimize our reliance on paper, making our operations eco-friendlier and more efficient. In fact, our paper consumption has decreased so significantly that we can no longer use our old methods of measuring it. We are currently developing a new system to accurately track our paper usage and continue our efforts to reduce it even further. This transition not only supports our sustainability goals but also enhances our operational efficiency and quality of service.

2. Supporting Guide Training
We believe in empowering local talent and fostering professional growth within our community. From October 2023, we have supported the training of 14 guides through our partner company, “The Bridge.” Out of these, 12 guides successfully completed the training and were certified as Hiking Guides. We are proud to have provided full scholarships to 9 of these candidates, while the remaining candidates received a 30% scholarship. This initiative not only enhances the skills of our guides but also contributes to the overall quality of our tours. By investing in their training, we ensure that our guides are well-prepared, knowledgeable, and capable of providing safe and enriching experiences for our clients. This focus on quality and safety is a cornerstone of our commitment to excellence.

3. Training Local Service Providers
In addition to supporting our guides, we have also focused on training numerous local service providers in the principles of sustainable tourism. By educating and collaborating with local service providers, we aim to create a network of responsible and environmentally conscious partners.
