We contacted Adventure & Fun Albania roughly two weeks before our departure with our wishes of what we wanted to hike and experience. There was always the possibility to change or alter our hiking wishes during the trip and he was always there for us when we needed him.

Albania blew us away, great experience
Everything went super smoothly.
We would return in a heartbeat and would love to do other tours like the Peaks of the Balkans or head down South.
The country is surprising in all the right ways, the people are friendly, the food is awesome and cheap, our guides were brilliant (we had 2 guides for 4 people – so good!) and the accommodation/food/transport etc all as advertised and up to western standards.
North Albania exceeded our expectations and I can strongly recommend Adventure and Fun Albania.

The tour was fantastic. We loved every place that we visited. The drive through the mountains was beautiful. The beaches on the Ionian Coast were incredible. Albania has so much varied history, landscapes and architecture. Each day seemed to bring something different but was as good as the last. The accommodation on the tour was excellent, far better than we had anticipated, we couldn’t fault it in the slightest. The hotels were always clean, in a great location and we had some spectacular views from our room. We are both vegetarian and we were able to find some good meals everywhere we went, we again couldn’t fault any of the places chosen to eat.
We would definitely recommend doing a tour through Adventure and Fun Albania.

I have been to Albania two times and on both trips, we were travelling with AFA. In short, they make sure that you have a great tour and provide you with the best accommodation, the best places to eat and the best guides possible in whichever part of Albania they take you.
For Albania in general, it is a beautiful country, the people are very friendly and with the guides of AFA you will return home with lot of knowledge about Albania and its history which is really interesting.

We want to thank Adventure & Fun Albania for the wonderful opportunity we had to travel with Ben on our Hiking and sightseeing tour in Northern Albania. The trip was really amazing and we felt so relaxed and well looked after. The tour went with only the two of us, so we felt quite special. Ben was a fabulous guide! He has a huge passion for his country, the outdoors and his job as a guide! His knowledge of the history and regions we were in is incredible.
We were delighted with each accommodation and the meals were delicious.

Where do I begin! We booked on last minute from Dubai in less than 3 days and land up with the best hiking plan in Albania. Doing the South trails was one of a kind, but what made it more special is our Guide, Loren … we can’t describe his professionalism or kindness in one review, he was super knowledgeable and super honest and kind representing Albanian culture and values to the core and we are blown away by his personality.

The overall experience was excellent. The itinerary was well planned and offered diverse activities and sightseeing. The hotels were very nice, and the meals were excellent. The small group of 6 travellers plus our guide made for a memorable experience for everyone. We travelled well together and everyone was considerate of other people’s needs and preferences. Our guide was a veritable gem, as he was very educated and knew everything about Albania. He lived through the Communist Times and told us so many stories about what people went through during the dictatorship. The places we visited were spectacular: we went to beautiful caves and swimming spots on the Ionian Sea in small boats twice; we also had the opportunity to go up into the mountains and enjoy hiking there; we were also amazed at the ancient sites of the Roman and Greek civilizations from 9th-7th century BC.

Wir haben eine wirklich sehr schöne Woche gehabt. Die Kueste war wuenderschon und auch die Touren waren gut organisiert. Es ist mit dem Selvaggio Blu auf Sardinien ähnlich. Unsere guide war sehr professionell und weiß auch sehr viel über Land und Leute.
Auch die Ngjipe Schlucht war super. Der Weg von der Strasse über die Schlucht runter zum Strand ist super abgesichert und man muss ein paarmal abseilen. Hat allen gut gefallen.

Thank you for two days of amazing experience. I was impressed by the level of organization. Everyone we met was extremely helpful, friendly in an authentic way and professional. The private tour on the Komani Lake was magic. The guesthouse in Valbona had a standard that I did not expect. Twelve years ago, when I slept last time in Valbona the conditions were very different! The hike from Valbona to Theth was breath-taking and we were so grateful for having a guide with a horse that could carry some extra kilos.
